All driving directions lead to the Duke Hospital (North) Parking Deck, where patrons are encouraged to park. Via I-40

1. Take the 147 Durham Freeway Exit (Exit 279 B).
2. From there, take the Elba Street/Trent Drive Exit (Exit 15 A).
3. Enter the right lane and follow straight onto Elba Street.
4. Enter the left lane after crossing over the railroad tracks.
5. Before you reach the next light, drive into the Parking Deck on your left.

Via I-85 from the South or West (Greensboro)

1. Take Exit 172 onto the Durham Freeway.
2. Take 147 Durham Freeway South (Exit 108 B) to Fulton Street (Exit 15 B).
3. On Fulton Street, take a left onto Elba Street, and then turn right into the Parking Deck.

Via I-85 from the North

1. Take 15-501 Bypass South, Duke University/Chapel Hill Exit (Exit 174 B).
2. Take 147 Durham Freeway South (Exit 108 B) to Fulton Street (Exit 15 B).
3. On Fulton Street, take a left onto Elba Street, and then turn right into the Parking Deck.

Via US 70 from the East

1. Take 15-501 Bypass South, Duke University/Chapel Hill Exit (Exit 174 B).
2. Take 147 Durham Freeway South (Exit 108 B) to Fulton Street (Exit 15 B).
3. On Fulton Street, take a left onto Elba Street, and then turn right into the Parking Deck.

Via US 15-501 from the South (Chapel Hill)

1. Take 147 Durham Freeway South (Exit 108 B) to Fulton Street (Exit 15 B).
2. On Fulton Street, take a left onto Elba Street, and then turn right into the Parking Deck.

Via US 15-501 from the North (Roxboro)

1. Follow the US 15-501 Bypass to the right when it branches at the Exxon station.
2. The street name will change to Duke Street.
3. Follow Duke Street to its intersection with Club Boulevard, by Northgate Mall.
4. Turn right onto Club Boulevard.
5. Follow Club Boulevard until it ends.
6. Turn left onto Hillandale Road, which changes into Fulton Street.
7. On Fulton Street, take a left onto Elba Street, and then turn right into the Parking Deck.

Via 147 Durham Freeway from the East

1. Take the Elba Street/Trent Drive Exit (Exit 15 A).
2. Enter the right lane and follow straight onto Elba Street.
3. Enter the left lane after crossing over the railroad tracks.
4. Before you reach the next light, drive into the Parking Deck on your left.

Via NC 751

1. Turn onto Erwin Road.
2. At the fourth stoplight, turn left onto Fulton Street.
3. Take the next right onto Elba Street, and then turn right into the Parking Deck.

Via Main Street (from downtown Durham)

1. Turn left from Main Street onto Erwin Road.
2. Follow Erwin Road through two stoplights.
3. Cross over the railroad tracks.
4. Before you reach the next light, drive into the Parking Deck on your right.

Walking from West Campus

1. If standing at the West Campus Bus Stop facing Duke Chapel, turn right.
2. Walk all the way to the last building (the back of Duke Clinics [South]), which is the only one facing your direction.
3. Enter the door, go up the stairs, and follow the winding hallway.
4. Take the first available left turn.
5. Turn right at the end of the hallway, past the white elevators.
6. Walk to the end of the long hallway, going past the red and blue elevators and clinic 1A.
7. At the end of the hallway, turn right; you will walk past the white elevators.
8. Turn left and walk to the end of the hall.
9. Take the elevator or stairs on the left to the Ground Level.
10. Follow the walkway to Duke Hospital (North).
11. The next building on the walkway is Seeley G. Mudd, which houses the Medical Center Library. It will be straight in front of you.
12. Use the doors on the right to enter the Library.

Walking from Science Drive

1. Walk down Science Drive until you reach Research Drive.
2. Cross the street (downhill) to Service Drive.
3. Follow the sidewalk along the right side of the Bryan Research Building.
4. At the end of the sidewalk, cross the circular driveway to enter the Seeley G. Mudd Building.
5. Turn right and follow the hallway.
6. Turn right at the end of the hallway.
7. Take the far elevator up to the Entrance Level. You will see the Lobby of the Medical Center Library through the glass on your left.
8. To access the Medical Center Library, walk through the door ahead of you to the right, and briefly exit the building.
9. Re-enter the Mudd Building through the first door to your left to enter the Medical Center Library.

Walking from Duke Clinics (South)

1. Enter Duke Clinics through the Main Lobby or via the Bridge from the Parking Garage.
2. Walk straight ahead down the main hallway and past the elevators until you reach the elevators on your left.
3. Turn right after the information desk and continue past the blue elevator to the end of the corridor.
4. At the end of the hallway, turn right; you will walk past the white elevators.
5. Turn left and walk to the end of the hall.
6. Follow the walkway to Duke Hospital (North).
7. Once in the Hospital, take the elevator to the ground level (1st floor) and then follow the set of instructions "Walking from Duke Hospital (North)"

Walking from Duke Hospital (North)

1. Go to the public elevators in the Main Lobby of Duke Hospital (North).
2. Facing the elevators, walk down the corridor to the right, bypassing the turn to the Cafeteria.
3. At the end of the corridor, walk through the doors leading outside onto a covered walkway.
4. Continue along the temporary walkway. It will bare to the right.
5. The only building located directly on the walkway houses the Medical Center Library. It will be straight ahead of you.
6. Walk into the Library entrance.

Walking from the Parking Deck on Erwin and Fulton

2. Walk across Erwin Road to the entrance of Duke Hospital (North).
3. Walk into the entrance and to the back of the lobby to the bank of elevators.
4. Walk down the corridor to the right of the elevators, bypassing the turn to the Cafeteria.
5. At the end of the corridor, walk through the doors leading outside onto a covered walkway.
6. Continue along the temporary walkway. It will bare to the right.
7. The only building located directly on the walkway houses the Medical Center Library. It will be straight ahead of you.
8. Walk into the Library entrance.
