The History of Medicine Collections are now located in the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library in Perkins Library on Duke's West Campus. Materials are available for use.

Hysteria, Nerve Disorders, and the Rest Cure

Many physicians prescribed the rest cure for individuals suffering from a variety of nerve disorders in the late 19th century. This exhibit includes materials related to hysteria, nerve disorders, and various treatments for these conditions.

The exhibit will be on display through October 17, 2011 at the Medical Center Library.
