History of Medicine Collections
History Reading Room The History of Medicine Collections house many rare and significant works that document medical practices and thought, and medicine's relationship to society through time.

The collections include over 20,000 monographs and 4,000 manuscripts, as well as photographs, illustrations, medical instruments, stamps, medals, and a variety of medical realia.

The History of Medicine Reading Room, which includes an extensive circulating book collection, is located in room 102 on the Lower Level.

The History of Medicine Website offers access to the HIM database, the Trent Associates newsletter, various exhibits, and the Reading Room policies and procedures.
