Looking for new ways to teach EBM
Andrew Booth from the ScHARR Library at the University of Sheffield, has created a customized Google search engine that searches across one hundred web sites (107) that are associated with the methodology of evidence based practice (EBP). This will replace the Netting the Evidence website that has served as a resource for EBM educators. Examples of sites included in the search are http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez/, http://www.agreecollaboration.org/, http://www.agreecollaboration.org/, and http://www.childrensmercy.org/stats/.
It is useful for finding information about the practice and teaching of EBP concepts. The new seaarch engine has been added to the EBM Subject Guide as a teaching tip.
