MDConsult now available for an unlimited number of users!

In order to satisfy our users' needs for easy and consistent access to clinical textbooks at the point of care, Duke Medical Center Library & Archives has secured a site license for MDConsult. Before now, we were only able to accommodate 7 simultaneous users. Now, we have a site license, and this will allow an unlimited number of users to access this very useful collection of clinical texts. MDConsult offers electronic access to a robust collection of core titles, such as "Miller's Anesthesia", "Nelson Textbook of Pediatrics", "Cecil Medicine". and "Brenner and Rector's The Kidney". Additionally, MDConsult includes over fifty journal titles and access to many of The Clinics. After reports of frequent lock-outs, we were able to negotiate a reasonable deal for a site license. We hope that this broadened access will be useful to our patrons.
