• ACS Surgery is the first reference of general surgery to carry the name of the American College of Surgeons. Developed to help practicing surgeons make critical decisions in patient care, it aggregates and synthesizes evidence to provide surgical best practices and includes drawings, graphs, and photos.

• PubMed is the National Library of Medicine's search service for accessing bibliographic information. It includes MEDLINE (1950 to the present), a premier database containing references to journal articles in the life sciences with a concentration in biomedicine. MEDLINE is indexed using Medical Subject Headings (MeSH), so be sure to use the appropriate MeSH vocabulary when conducting your search.

• Search the E-Journals page under the subject "Neurosurgery, Oral Surgery, Plastic Surgery" OR "Surgery" and you will find journals that are available electronically (check the specific years you are interested in).
