The Duke University Medical Center (DUMC) Archives collections consist of the administrative records of Duke University Medical Center departments and personal papers of individuals affiliated with Duke University Medical Center, the Duke University Health System, and the Duke University School of Medicine (including the School of Nursing, Allied Health Educational Programs, and Area Health Education Center Program). MD Consult provides access to 37 medical texts, over 500 peer-reviewed clinical practice guidelines, and texts from articles in 47 medical journals, including Clinics of North America and the American Journal of Emergency Medicine. In addition, MD Consult provides an update service, summarizing articles in recent medical journals and highlighting articles that patients may be reading in the popular press.
