The History of Medicine Collections welcomes gifts that will help strengthen our collections, services, and general resources.

• Monetary gifts to purchase materials and support services and special projects
• Books and journals
• Artifacts (stamps, book plates, instruments) relating to medicine or Duke University
• Selected manuscripts and papers of key figures in health care and medicine at Duke University

Join the Trent Associates

Another way to contribute to the resources in the History of Medicine Collections is to join the Trent Associates, named in honor of Dr. Josiah Charles Trent. The Associates receive a printed copy of the Trent Associates Report and personal invitations to all activities and special events, including the collaborative speaker series with UNC-CH. Membership dues are used to purchase noteworthy additions to the rare collection and to assist with the production of special publications.
