HISTLINE: The National Library of Medicine's online database in history of medicine and related sciences. Covers all languages, chronological periods, and geographic areas from 1964 to present. Formerly (1964-1993) available in print as the "Bibliography of the History of Medicine" (Ref Z6661 M616). Has entries for monographs, journal articles, theses, book chapters, and individual chapters in the published proceedings of symposia and congresses. HISTLINE no longer exists as a discrete database. Journal citations can be searched in PubMed and monograph citations can be searched in LOCATOR plus (see directions below).
