Library Building Anniversary
Celebrating 25 Years
In November, 1975, after forty years of being housed in the basement of the Davison building, the Medical Center Library moved into its modern 60,000 square foot facility in the Mudd building, formally known s the Seeley G. Mudd Communications Center and Library. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Mudd building, which houses the Library and the Searle Center, the Library presented a special exhibit in November - December, 2000. The following virtual exhibit is a sampling from that display which featured archival plans, photos, and artifacts tracing the planning and construction of the building.
