Blackboard at Duke

Blackboard, an online course management system, is used to enhance communication, organization and presentation in courses at all nine Duke schools. The Center for Instructional Technology administers Blackboard at Duke, with support from the Office of Information Technology and guidance from the Blackboard Advisory Group.

 Clinical Research Support Office

The Clinical Research Support Office participates in the development of institutional policies regarding clinical research, provides training and education to study teams and the clinical research community at Duke, and reviews and approves charge assignment grids.

 DHTS Help Desk

The Duke Health Technology Solutions (DHTS) Help Desk provides core information technology support to Duke Health Enterprise users. Several accounts are managed by the Help Desk team including Notes, SAP, MCIS, DHIS, LAN, and DEMPO.

 DUHS Employee Intranet

The Duke University Health System (DUHS) Intranet provides numerous links to staff resources, such as policies and manuals, staff updates and news, weather, staff education, benefits, human resources, employee calendars, phonebooks, and directories.

 Duke Office of CME

The purpose of the Duke Office of Continuing Medical Education (DOCME) is to collaborate with Duke faculty, clinical departments and other units to identify educational needs and to design, implement, evaluate and document educational conferences and initiatives.

 Duke Paging System

Searchable by pager ID or name, this database application can be used to send a message via pager or email to an individual or message group. It can also be used for performing directory lookups and confirming and updating on-call assignments and schedules.

Access to search the Duke directory for phone and fax numbers, mailing and physical addresses, and email contact information for members of the Duke community.

The Duke University School of Medicine (SOM) Website provides information about the school including a description of admission requirements, the Duke curriculum, scholarships available, major initiatives, and achievements. This patient-oriented Web portal provides key information about receiving care at Duke including how to request an appointment, how to find a Duke physician, and where our clinics and hospitals are located. The latest health news and tips are included, along with information about hundreds of medical conditions, and ongoing research to improve diagnosis, treatment and management of common and rare diseases and disorders. Referring physicians may also learn about current research studies and search for clinical trials.

 DUMC Archives

The Duke University Medical Center (DUMC) Archives collections consist of the administrative records of Duke University Medical Center departments and personal papers of individuals affiliated with Duke University Medical Center, the Duke University Health System, and the Duke University School of Medicine (including the School of Nursing, Allied Health Educational Programs, and Area Health Education Center Program).
