    • Academic Center for Evidence-Based Practice (ACE) at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio
      The Academic Center for Evidence-Based Practice (ACE) was established as a center of excellence for The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in January 2000. ACE is dedicated to bridging research into practice. This is accomplished through collaboration with the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in San Antonio center of excellence, VERDICT, as well as national and international entities such as the Agency for healthcare Research and Quality and the Cochrane Collaboration.

    • Nursing Best Practice Guidelines Program
      From the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO), in Canada. The purpose of this multi-year program is to support Ontario (Canada) Nurses by providing them with Best Practice Guidelines for client care. The program has been designed in multiple cycles. Each cycle consists of five phases: planning, development, pilot implementation, evaluation and dissemination/uptake. Each guideline also undergoes full review every three years and revised as necessary. To date, the program team has initiated six cycles of guideline development to dissemination/uptake.

      From Virginia Commonwealth University. An organized collection of websites to support the teaching and practice of evidence based nursing.

    • Evidence Based Practice Resource Area
      From the Oncology Nursing Society. The primary intent of the Evidence-Based Resource Area is to provide nurses with a guide to identify, critically appraise and use evidence to solve clinical problems. It can also assist nurses – especially advanced practice nurses – who are helping others in developing evidence-based practice protocols.
