Clinical Tools for Tanzania

Organized list of databases, textbooks and other free resources in to support clinical care and health care education at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre, Moshi, Tanzania. KCMC is one of four referral hospitals and medical schools in Tanzania. DUMC has substantial clinical research collaborations with KCMC, and has placed medical students, residents and fellows there for training opportunities over the past 10 years. A full time faculty member, Dr. John Crump, is on-site and provides mentorship in research and training endeavors. Format: Website   

Google Translate

Allows you to search for something in your own language (for example, English) and translate the results from the web in another language (for example, French). While machine translation is not perfect, it's usually good enough for you to obtain the gist of information in a language you might otherwise be unable to access. This feature may be particularly useful for international users since although the majority of Internet users out there are non English speakers, a majority of the content on the internet is still in English.
