CINAHL Subject Headings: Nursing Theory and Theoretical Models

CINAHL includes subject headings that describe nursing theories in general (“Nursing Theory” and the narrower term “Nursing Models, Theoretical”) and specific nursing theories/models. There is also the heading “Nursing Practice, Theory Based.” For materials that talk about the theorists themselves, the heading “Nurse Theorists” is available.
