Library liaisons and expert consultants are available for the Medical Center's academic programs and for many resources. Contact your library liaison or resource expert to schedule a class, get advanced help, or even to get started with using the Library. You may also contact the on-call reference librarian at (919) 660-1100 or through our Ask a Librarian page.

Library liaisons can:

  • Guest lecture in your class or journal club
  • Integrate evidence-based practice and information literacy into your course or curriculum
  • Collaborate on systematic reviews of the literature and grant preparation
  • Consult on literature search strategies and resource selection
  • Assist you with managing information, from staying up-to-date with the literature to managing citations using software such as EndNote
  • Communicate your needs for resources and services to the Library
