EndNote is citation management software that allows you to organize references, create instant bibliogrphies in customized formats, and easily incorporate citations into working manuscripts. A site license at Duke provides free access to the software for students, faculty and staff. Tutorials providing step-by-step instructions on saving and importing citations from both Ovid and PubMed into EndNote are available.
Ovid TutorialThis tutorial is designed to assist those who use the Web to access Ovid databases, in conjunction with EndNote version 6 - version 8. While a MEDLINE search is used as an example, the tutorial is applicable to most databases available through the Ovid platform. To schedule a class or individual training session, contact Ginger Carden at 660-1184.
PubMed TutorialAfter completing this tutorial, you should be able to import citations from a PubMed search into an EndNote database. Please note: The tutorial is current for EndNote versions 6 - 9. To schedule a class or individual training session, contact Ginger Carden at 660-1184.
