DUMCL PDA Formatted Files: EBM
The Medical Center Library has created sets of PDA formatted files.
These files can be loaded on a PDA
through individual accounts at AvantGo.com
Instructions for loading files:
- go to www.avantgo.com
- create a personal account and load the software for the Avantgo Service on your Palm Pilot
- at the Avantgo site, login to your account
- select "Create Channel" and fill in the form as follows:
- Title = (create your own title - e.g. DUMCL EBM Resources)
- Location = (complete URL for desired Website
e.g. http://www.mclibrary.duke.edu/training/pdaformat/ebm.html)
- Channel Size =
- Maximum Channel Size = 250k
- Link Depth = 3
- Include Images = No
- Follow Off-site Links = No
- Refresh = On every sync
- The next time you Sync your PDA, "DUMCL EBM Resources" should be listed as one of your Avantgo Channels
